The BEST part of waking up...

...is seeing this smooshy, sleepy, half-dreaming face every single morning...

Have I mentioned lately how much I love co-sleeping? Oh wait, no I haven't, because I haven't blogged in FOUR MONTHS!!!! Ahahaha...horrible. Really, really horrible. I actually have been blogging, just not on here, over on my personal blog and my photography blog. But that is going to change! I've really missed my fellow birth junkies! And this blog is extremely important to me. Photography kind of took over my life for a few months, but that's not where my heart is. It's with my babies.

So, here I vow, my birth blogging will return to a somewhat normal state. I wanted to blog tonight about how annoying it is that Heidi Klum gets propped up, sucked in (ah-hum, a corset), and shoved out onto the runway only weeks after she has a baby, but alas, could not find a good article to go with. So, just know that I am sufficiently annoyed.

I hope that you all have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! It shall not be another 4 months until we meet again!

I love love love co-sleeping.
They start off in their own beds, so i can actually have some "mommy/daddy" time and just be with my husband.
but they usually always join me at some point during the night. sometimes if i'm already asleep, they hop in around 11pm. Other times, I'll walk them back to bed (it's usually only one at a time that does this) and then they'll try again in the morning. Sometimes 6am, sometimes it's already 8 or 9am and ready to get up.
But I love having their little bodies next to me. I love looking over and kissing on their little gaping mouths, and puffy cheeks.

and i LOVE when their arms are above their heads. Still all "baby" like with fat little elbows.
My 3 yr old doesn't sleep like this often, and his little body is beginning to get bony joints as he grows taller. But I love curling around his cold little feet to make them warm.

@ mommymichael: You know, my son starts off in his own crib in his room at night, just because I still feel like it's not safe to leave a 1 year old sleeping with a 3 year old in an unattended bed, even though he could probably do more damage to her than she could do to him! Anyway, lately I've been thinking we could totally put our 3 year old to sleep in her room them take her into our room just before we go to sleep. She's really easy to go to bed at night. My husband just lays with her for about twenty minutes or so. There's no reason he couldn't do that in her room. I think we will do that tonight, thanks for the input!

And I totally love the arms above the head too! It's like total relaxation mode!

oh thats sooo cute.
love to 'hear' from you again
Ara has not slept all night in her bed yet but she does get the pip often and storms out...Hamish kicking or Mummy taking all the blankets...but she's always back 11 or 1.
I think we all need a break every so often we come back with more to talk about.
big love
